Conservation Tips: Part 2

Mad Max Apocalypse Fashionista Audition or Fashionable Conservationist Volunteer?

⠀TBH I didn’t notice my @astrosbaseball socks matched my @nikewoman shoes and gloves. Pretty snazzy, and who says you can’t be cute while saving the environment
Additionally, I wanted to give two pieces of advice for advocating and helping with the environment.
#𝟭. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘂𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗵.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
💥Several people have asked me the past few weeks if I signed up to do it, what group I am a part of, what volunteer groups are there to join, and if I’d like to volunteer for Alum Rock Park or Sierra Vista. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
💥 My response, I am someone who loves to hike and decided I am fortunate to hike fast, and carrying extra weight is not an issue, so I might as well pick up trash. I love these parks so much; everyone is so friendly and welcoming. It only makes me want to protect it and clean it up. No strings attach. Just do it!
#𝟮. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘂𝗺.
💥 You don’t walk into a museum and mess with the Mona Lisa or trample over the artwork.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
💥 You don’t go to the exhibits that say “do not enter.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
💥 You follow where it tells you to go.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
💥 When exhibits are closed, it is closed. Don’t trespass.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
💥You don’t toss trash at the artwork, either.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
💥Admire the beauty.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
💥Please take a picture near it that doesn’t include touching it.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
💥Leave only footprints.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Special thanks to 📸 @leuteriollii for snapping this picture while I was picking up trash at Sierra Vista, @open_space_authority, and at Alum Rock Park.
